The main objective of Universal Transit Manager's (UTM) creation is the automation of modular transits design to seal cables, pipes and tubes. This system allows to speed up and simplify the following processes:

• components selection for modular transit in accordance with the installation requirements and parameters of cables, tubes and pipes going through the hole in the wall;
• assembly planning for selected transit's components;
• creation of the project documentation, which includes assembly drawing and detailed specification of transit;

To select components for modular transit user should choose diameters of cables, pipes and tubes, going through the hole of the wall. During design process UTM allows to use:

• transits with custom planning of modules installation;
• transits for single cable, pipe or tube;
• standard transits with preselected components, usually used when maximum number and diameters of sealing cables, pipes and tubes are known.

In each project user is able to work with any number of transits simultaneously. UTM database allows to store and retrieve any number of projects.

In custom packing and standard transits it's possible to plan the allocation of transit components in transit usign the special tool of UTM software "Packing Plan". Software allows to create the packing plan both automatically (with the ability to manually correct the results of automattic planning) and manually. When working with the Packing Plan user is able to see the real picture of the modular transit.

When all components of modular transit were selected and the design of their assembly was created, it's possible to automatically generate documentation for each concrete transit and the whole project. Documentation includes:

• detailed component specification, usable to make the offer from dealer;
• the set of drawings, usable during transit installation.

Drawings could be saved in DXF format, compatible with AutoCAD system. Specification could be exported to MS Excel.
